EddieAngel is part of a new wave of Chicano R&B artists reshaping the sound of alternative soul in Austin and beyond. Fronted by singer-songwriter Angel Estrada, the project has steadily built momentum through emotionally grounded songwriting and a growing local fanbase. His 2024 debut EP Love Bomb and follow-up single “Spell” introduced his dreamy and nostalgic storytelling, while 2025’s “Holding On” (ft. Tobias Lund) surpassed over 100K streams and secured playlist support. Now, EddieAngel launches a new era with his latest single “PAYASO”. As the foundation for forthcoming EP Chicano Blues, 'PAYASO' sets the tone for an EP that fuses Mexican heritage with R&B, soul, and rock, positioning EddieAngel as a rising voice in Chicano and alternative R&B spaces.
