Our Shame

Blending folktronica with and leftfield pop, the duo Our Shame (凹與山) consists of producer/singer-songwriter Estelle H and percussionist Isan, seeks something spiritual in the modern day technology addiction from an East Asian perspective. Their debut album ‘Modern Problem’, an independently produced fusion of electro-folk and retrowave, the album has earned recognition from music editors across Europe, North America, Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia, finding its way into many curated playlists and Spotify Viral 50. On their second album, ‘Hidden Album’(2025), Our Shame approach it like wallflowers at an underground rave, documenting the unspeakable with a quiet but unflinching lens. Built on a foundation of folktronica and synth-pop, their palette stretches from acoustic guitars and field recordings to splashes of Trip-hop, UK Garage and techno. With a unique mix of soulful vocals, synthesizers, guitars, drum machines, their sound fuses the cold textures of digital precision with the warmth of analog tones. The duo has performed at notable events like Reeperbahn Festival 2024 (Germany), Minami Wheel (Japan), Megaport Festival (Taiwan) and Sonik Philippines.
