Austin, Texas’ Gummy Fang released their self titled debut album in July of 2025 featuring jangly, uptempo indie pop anthems and textural introspective ballads. The Austin Chronicle named it their 7th favorite local album of the year and nominated the band for Best New Act at the annual Austin Music Award. Gummy Fang is known for their cheery onstage charm, heartfelt crooning, intricate countermelodies on bass, and drumming that combines jazz vocabulary with a meaty rock pulse. Singer, guitarist, and songwriter Willow Braun pens infectious love songs which are accompanied by winding, classical inspired bass counterpoint by Fructose, and nuanced, in the pocket, jazz inspired drumming from Nicky Christmas.
