¿Qiensave?

Salinas’ own Cumbia Urbana band, ¿Qiensave?, delivers an infectious fusion of traditional cumbia and modern urban sounds, known for electrifying performances that keep crowds moving. With roots in Michoacán, Mexico, and a home base in Salinas, California, the band has been making waves since 2009, blending cumbia with rock, reggae, and hip-hop while bringing their dynamic live show to stages across the U.S., Mexico, and Colombia. They gained wider attention with their 2019 debut Mujer, featuring “High Class” and “La Fuga,” and continued their momentum with releases like “Mata De Mota” featuring Tropa Magica, “El DUI” produced by Eduardo Arenas (Chicano Batman), and the fan favorite “Quemayama.” In 2024, they partnered with Grammy-nominated producer El Dusty for the remix album Reanimación and collaborated with Chuck Prophet on Wake The Dead, which hit #1 on the AMA/CDX Americana charts. Now entering their next chapter, ¿Qiensave? prepares to release their new album Así Las Cosas in summer 2026, led by the single “SED De Tu Amor,” as they continue pushing cumbia forward with a fresh, evolving sound.
