Amsterdam-based shoegaze outfit Honey I’m Home have suspected they were cursed ever since their rehearsal space burned down the day before their very first show, but recent developments suggest that the curse may finally have lifted. Early 2026 they’re named as the #1 emerging act at Europe’s leading showcase festival (ESNS): “Honey I’m Home is the coolest new band from the Netherlands. The packed room gets their faces melted off, but occasionally gets a breather in the form of a beautiful verse. The unexpected breaks, original melodies and smart tempo changes give the set its own, authentic sound.” Drawing from the raw energy of ’90s alternative rock acts like the Smashing Pumpkins & My Bloody Valentine and blending it with a fresh, modern sound, they've created their own unique take on the shoegaze, indie, and emo genres. On stage, the band’s full power is unleashed: captivating live shows that balance between fragile intimacy and explosive outbursts. The band toured with Rocket, Hotline TNT & Foxing in the EU & UK, and played key EU showcase festivals including ESNS, Reeperbahn & Left of the Dial. New single Pretty got featured on Line of Best Fit, BBC6 & Melomania on Spotify.
