Seductive, sharp, and unapologetically fearless, Loren Heat is a bold new force in UK pop. Emerging from Middlesbrough in the industrial heartland of north east England, Loren wasted no time making waves with their debut EP “Scarlet Haze”. Exploring the turbulence of admitting your feelings and experiencing some of your hardest points in life, Heat’s heart-on-sleeve lyrics combine the sweetest parts of love with the most vulnerable parts of lust. Their sharp-edged pop has already caught the attention of major tastemakers including Clash, DIY, Spotify, Apple Music, BBC Introducing, Record of the Day, Notion, Atwood and Earmilk, to name but a few. Inspired by global icons like Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Slayyyter, Dua Lipa and JADE, Loren is as unapologetic as their story – an exploration of queerness, identity and the raw chaos of navigating life in the North East. After a breakthrough 2025 which saw Heat perform acclaimed sets the likes of The Great Escape, Kendal Calling and BBC Introducing from the Glasshouse, Loren recently inked a deal with Interval Records (Generator/Universal Music Group).
