SWDEJAY (Southwest Ejay) is a first-generation Mexican-American DJ from Southwest Detroit, deeply rooted in the city’s rich musical legacy. Known for his high-energy, open-format style, he seamlessly blends Latin House, Reggaeton, Dembow, Baile Funk, and Ghetto Tech — reflecting both his heritage and Detroit’s forward-thinking sound. As the curator of Fiesta House, he has played a key role in shaping Detroit’s Global Latin club scene, holding multiple residencies at some of the city’s top nightlife venues while building a cultural bridge between Detroit and the world. His sound has reached international dance floors through performances and productions in Paris, Berlin, London, Chicago, Guadalajara, and Mexico City.
