JLQ (aka the Julie Lowery Quartet) is a quartet on Austin’s Flak Records known for its lush vocals and catchy melodies. The band features Austin music veterans Julie Lowery (lead vocals, acoustic guitar), Andy Maguire (bass), David Mider (percussion) and Jenny Smith (violin) playing and singing dreamy, four-part harmony ear worms.
