Houston’s own DJ XO’s musical resume already reads like a seasoned veteran. DJing already for 10 + years and producing music for even longer, during the course of his career, XO has been in the studio with industry heavyweights like 2Chains, The Game, rap icon Trina and at present time, R&B sensation, Carl Thomas and Keith Sweat who also serves as a mentor to the budding artist. Although he is grateful and humbled by its success, he is glad that with his upcoming release, “Love Somebody ”, that he will have the opportunity to select a single that he feels best speaks to his newfound fan base. He’s also quick to emphasize that he’s only been rapping for 6 years. He mentions that fact and expresses a desire to grow but in the same breath he wears his fast ascent like a badge of honor. “There’s no one who has done what I’ve done,”. “Love Somebody ” is an ambitious CD and in his own words, “for the ladies”. XO believes that it will better showcase his capabilities in the booth. The re- introduction of XO through “love Somebody” will provide the “Desire” with hopes to hold the ladies attention with his lead single, “Love Somebody ” and its engaging visuals.
