Power trio Parker Woodland plays joyous rock-n-roll for a world on fire. The female-majority band is known for justice activism, infectious melodies and uplifting energy, with singer/bassist Erin Walter's physical performance an invitation for audiences to let go and jump on stage to dance with the band. The trio's debut album There's No Such Thing as Time hit #24 on the Submodern album chart and includes bops "Ladder at Your Window" and "The World's on Fire (and We Still Fall in Love)" as well as anthems addressing LGBTQIA+ rights (“Makeup"), grief (“Stranger”), violence and greed ("The Reckoning"). “The hype isn’t just real. It’s fully warranted and well-earned... Major Go-Go’s energy and major kudos . Parker Woodland has earned their keep as a KUTX favorite.” -KUTX “There’s No Such Thing as Time… grapples with some of the existential threats to our planet (climate change) and society (transphobia) set against unapologetically bright punk. . . . Climbing, scuzzy guitar gives way to a driving beat pinned down by drummer Keri Cinquina (Parker Woodland features a rare all-woman rhythm section) … Throw on your glitter. They’ll keep dancing ’til the world ends.” –Austin Chronicle
