Mission

Born in Greenville, Mississippi, and raised in Sacramento, California, Antonio Smith, better known as Mission, is a genre-defying Christian music artist who has dedicated his life and music to glorifying God. As a husband to Shawnay Smith and father of four—two boys and two girls—Mission’s journey of faith began when he gave his life to Christ at the age of 18, and his music continues to reflect that commitment. Mission’s life and music are deeply rooted in Matthew 6:33: “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” He believes in doing God’s will, not his own, and encourages others to love God’s people. His personal motto, “All of You, none of me,” is based on the scripture “I must decrease so the Lord can increase,” signifying his desire for God’s will to be done in his life above all else.
