Romar Daniel, known professionally as FATHER ROMAR—formerly Daddy Dinero and affectionately nicknamed “DAD”—is an American rapper, songwriter, and recording engineer based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. A distinctive voice in hip-hop, he first emerged as one-third of the influential group FREEWIFI, which signed to LA label Rostrum Records in 2016. FREEWIFI debuted with Connected, followed by FREEQUENCY, featuring Romar’s breakout single “1(800)-ASSS.” The track earned placements on BET Jams and REVOLT TV, helping solidify his reputation as a creative force. The group was also featured by outlets including Sway’s Universe, HipHopDX, and Pigeons & Planes. Their single “Rent’s Due” appeared in Season 2, Episode 2 of Showtime’s The Chi, expanding their reach to national TV audiences. Musically, ROMAR draws inspiration from Southern rap icons like Lil Wayne, Three 6 Mafia, Mike Jones, J-Kwon, Bone Thugs, and Ludacris. Known for his signature ad-libs—“AHHHHH” and “WHAAATTT”—he blends classic influence with modern innovation. Inspired by artists like A$AP Rocky, he brings bold self-expression through both music and fashion, continuing to evolve from “Daddy” into a boundary-pushing “FATHER.”
