Holly Macve is an Irish-born, English-raised singer, songwriter, and producer known for her cinematic, haunting sound that blends Americana, alt-country, and dream pop. Described by Record Collector as “an ethereal offspring of Nick Cave blessed with the stark musical backdrop of Johnny Cash’s ‘American’ series of recordings,” she has spent the last decade penning immersive anthems of love, loss, and spiritual searching - revealing a born storyteller with a deep longing for human experience and a romantic curiosity about the world around her. It’s no wonder her talents caught the attention of Lana Del Rey who, after featuring on Holly’s single ‘Suburban House’, declared her “one of the most beautiful singing voices in the world.” With a voice described as “celestial” by The Line of Best Fit, Macve moves between fragility and force, writing timeless melodies that explore heartbreak, escape, and existential longing. Following three critically acclaimed albums, Holly has relocated to the US and is currently recording her fourth studio album.
